Structure: 

1. There are four groups, each of which consists of three debaters.

2. The first round will be a round robin league. So, in each group there will be three debates. In the first round there will be a total of twelve debates

3. One contestant from each group will advance to the semifinal round.

4. The winners of the semifinal will advance to the final.

5. At last the final(s) will take place.

6. Judging will be done on voting. Always there will be odd number of judges.

Debate Procedure for the First Round:

1. Topics will be uploaded to the group at 10 P.M. on the fixed date.

2. Each debater will be attached to a side.

3. Debaters will be given 2 days to submit their constructive writing.

4. After two days their mails will be uploaded simultaneously to the group.

5. Then they will be given 1 day to refute each other’s arguments.

6. After that their will be a general discussion in the group for 2 days. Anyone interested is allowed to participate in this discussion.

7. And after that Judges will submit their verdict along with their discussion/ opinion/ evaluation.

8. The results will be combined and formally declared.

9. If anyone fails to submit his/her script within due date, a walk over will be given to the opponent.

Submission of Writing:

1. Each submission will have to be as an attachment in MS-WORD format.

2. Font Name: Times New Roman

3. Font size : 12

4. Page Limit :

   1. 3  Pages (constructive portion)

   2. 1 Page (rebuttal portion)

5. Writing can either be done in English or Bangla (I mean Banglish). But it is the responsibility of the debater to make the Judges understand what he/she wants to express.
